Prayer Who Needs It?
When you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. —Matthew 6:6
How is your prayer life today Christian? When life comes in like a flood where do you run to, who do you turn to?
In this passage of scripture Jesus is reminding us that if we are seeking to find God in the hustle and bustle of today's fast paced life we need to crave out a "secret place" with the Father. So where is your place where you meet with Him to get your needs met; at the breakfast table, in the car driving to work (if so keep your eyes open), in the woods, or maybe it is literally a closet. I don't think its so much where it is as much as it is a real place where you shut out the world for a time and seek His will and direction for your life.
Today make some time for Him get away from the crazy and cry out "Abba Father" give to Him because He cares for you and desires to come along side of you to give you strength for the day.
