How We teach
We believe God changes lives through His Word. So we teach the Bible the way it was written—book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. We don’t skip the hard parts, we don’t avoid whole books, and we don’t build sermons around opinions. We read it, explain what it means, and apply it to real life.
(Nehemiah 8:8; Acts 20:27; 2 Timothy 3:16–17)
the Bible
We believe the Bible (Old and New Testament) is God’s Word—true, trustworthy, and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. When experiences, feelings, or trends disagree with Scripture, Scripture wins.
(John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 19:7–11)
God
We believe there is one true God—holy, personal, eternal—who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created all things, rules over all things, and deserves all worship.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Isaiah 44:6; Genesis 1:1)
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is fully God and became fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross in our place, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to the Father. Jesus is alive right now—our Savior, our Lord, and our intercessor.
(John 1:1,14; Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:23; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Hebrews 7:25)
The Only Way of Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of grace. You don’t earn it. You receive it by turning from sin (repentance) and trusting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Real faith produces real change—not perfection overnight, but a new direction and a real desire to obey Christ.
(Ephesians 2:8–10; Romans 10:9–10; Acts 2:38; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
