Men's Ministry

Men's Bible Study

We have regular meetings where we study God's word and fellowship every Tuesday evening at  6:30 pm, starting on January 10th, 2023. We will be going through the book of Mark, so bring your bibles.

Bring your wife and they can join the women's bible study that happens at the same time (6:30 pm every Tuesday Evening).

Men's Ministry

"so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

2Timothy 3:17

Vision:

It is the desire of this leadership to equip and strengthen men in their faith through the power of the Holy Spirit and through the study of God’s Word so that they may become Godly men, husbands, and fathers: that they will become the spiritual leaders of their homes and church, and be an influence at their work
places and communities.

Mission:

The mission of the Men’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel New Harvest, Los Lunas is that through the power of the Holy Spirit, and the study and application of God’s Word, we would fulfill the great commission given to us in Matthew 28:18-20

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

The Purpose:

  • Meeting together
  • To study the Word of God
  • To build one another up in faith
  • To hold each other accountable
  • To pray for one another’s needs
  • To encourage one another through fellowship
  • To continue steadfast in our Christian faith

Goals:

Through the instruction of the Word of God, Encouraging one another (1Thes. 5:11,14; Heb. 3:13), developing friendships with other men, to help one another physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Men's Ministry

"so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

2Timothy 3:17

By encouraging men to:
  • Group themselves into 3 or 4 men to lift each other up in these areas (Eccl.4:12)
  • Invite men to join them in worship, prayer, church, and studies. (Matt. 28:18-20)
  • Communicate with the Lord through prayer, read the Word of God, and
  • Worship.
  • Develop an atmosphere of belonging, a brotherhood of believers, knitted together with shared beliefs and the Holy Spirit.
