2017 is quickly coming to an end. Let us take time to look back and ask ourselves, ‘are we content with where God has placed us?’
So where is your mind in light of the year’s end, are we learning to be content where He has placed us over the last year?
Are you happy with what you have and where you’re at?
James the Apostle writes in the third chapter of his epistle;
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. (James 3.13-18 ESV)
Wherever it may be that God has placed you over this last year I pray that you have learned to be content with His leading and that you are learning to trust in His direction for your life.
Remember that the Lord is always leading and we as His children need to to be patient where He has placed us. No matter where He leads us in the coming year know that He is already there waiting on us.
